Another Successful Adult Soapbox Derby Race!
The weather was great and there was a lot of excitement in the crowd! There were approximately forty entrants in this year’s race and some racers were extremely creative! My personal favorite was the “Chicken Man”!
Thank you to everyone who bought hot dogs and snow cones. We raised over $300 which will be used to help the residents of the Nazareth Area. Another huge thank you to the Soapbox organizers who named VOE as the main benefactor of this year’s event. We look forward to participating again next year. A special thank you to our student volunteers, Daniel and Mikaela. They worked tirelessly for many hours serving snow cones and we look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you again Daniel and Mikaela!!
Mission Statement
We are a Pennsylvanian non-profit organization operating as a public charity. Our objective is to work with religious organizations, civic groups, other non-profit organizations, and individuals to identify needs in the Nazareth area. Our membership feels that those who have been blessed should be sharing their blessings with those in need.
